A former member of House of Representatives, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, FCIPA, ALBS, has eulogized the former Chairman of Nigeria National Petroleum Company, Chief Pius Akinyelure on his 80th birthday.

The former lawmaker described Chief Pius Akinyelure as a visionary whose tenure as Chairman of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and Executive Director at Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc set benchmarks for excellence in corporate governance and strategic management.
He noted that Akinyelure’s expertise and integrity have not only elevated Nigeria’s standing in the global oil industry but also inspired countless professionals to pursue excellence with diligence and patriotism.
Hon. Babatunde noted that Chief Akinyelure’s remarkable contributions to his hometown of Idanre, particularly his efforts in infrastructural development and community empowerment.
